Earlier this month the police appealed for sightings of British nationals James Anthony Nolan, Tommy Ward, and William Donohue over a series of scams in Auckland.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bridget Doell said there were warrants out for the arrest of all three.

Police now said they have had several reports of potential sightings around Wellington in the past week.

Ms Doell said people need to be cautious about offers of home maintenance work.

Anyone with any information about the men's whereabouts is being urged to get in touch with police.
