Three men were arrested early yesterday morning at a Lower Hutt address.

Tommy Ward and William Donohue have been remanded in custody are due to appear in the Wellington District Court again tomorrow.

But once police confirmed the identity of the third man he was released without charge.

Both Donohue and Ward are in New Zealand on holiday visas, and they're charged with using a false roofcare business card and invoice.

Jamed Nolan was arrested by authorities last month in relation to the alleged scam but failed to appear in court.

A warrant was issued for his arrest but police say their investigations lead them to believe he has left the country.
