Police have arrested a second man in connection with a shooting in Whenuapai last month.

The man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The 30-year-old also faces charges of possession of ammunition and possession of methamphetamine for supply.
He was due to appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
Officers were called to Brigham Creek Road on 14 January where they found a man who had been shot in his lower back and buttocks.
Another man, aged 42, has already been arrested and appeared in court last month.
