Christchurch terror attacks: Four killed with dual Egyptian and New Zealand citizenship

The Ambassador of the Egyptian Embassy has released the names of four Egyptian nationals killed in the terrorist attacks in Christchurch.

The embassy said the ambassador met with the relatives of the victims and could now confirm the names.

The names are written according to their families statements and respecting the Egyptian tradition of honouring the names of martyrs.

In Islamic tradition people who die while praying are considered martyrs.

Those who died were Ahmed Gamal Eldin Mohamed Abdel Ghany, 69.

Ashraf El-Moursy Ragheb, 55.

Hussein Mohamed Khalil Moustafa, 70.

Mounir Soliman who was 69.

All four had Egyptian and New Zealand nationality.
