A man who runs a Christchurch insulation firm with Nazi themed imagery has been charged with distributing objectionable material in relation to Friday's terror attack.

Police conducted a search warrant on a property in Avonside on Tuesday morning, and took Philip Arps, who is 44, into custody.
Mr Arps appeared in the Christchurch District Court today on charges of distributing objectionable material.
He will reappear next month.
His company vans' feature a black sun image text reading '$14.88 a metre', both of which are linked with neo-nazi and white supremacist groups.
The numbers 14 88 are used as code by white supremacists and neo-nazis, with 14 referring to a 14 word slogan by White Supremacist David Lane, and 88 is used as code for Heil Hitler.
The black sun image was used by one of the Nazi leaders, Heinrich Himmler, and has been co-opted by neo-nazi groups.
Police are reminding people that it may be an offence to distribute or possess an objectionable publication, and that this offence may carry a penalty of imprisonment.
They said material deemed objectionable can include moving or still visual images or written comment, whether on social media or in other forms.
