Police and search teams are looking for a man swept away by the sea at Bethells Beach in west Auckland yesterday.

The 34-year-old man was swimming with his partner and a child when they were all caught in a rip.
The woman and the child got safely to shore, but the man did not make it back.
The police Eagle Helicopter and Search and Rescue teams have been searching for him since late afternoon.
