Parts of Wellington are without electricity on Wednesday.
Power was lost about 7.45am due to a transmission supply problem.
Substations at Central Park and Kaiwharawhara are affected. Some
28,000 customers are without electricity.
Police are controlling traffic coming on and off the motorway from the Terrace, because traffic lights are not working.
