Man who died after falling from van on Auckland motorway named

The man who died after falling from a moving vehicle on the southern motorway in Auckland a week ago has been named by police.

Sauitua Apolinalio, 22, was a client of Framework Services, a company providing mental health services.

Mr Apolinalio had been with other clients in the back of the unlocked van at the time of his death.

Police said their thoughts were with his family at this time. The death has been referred to the coroner.
