The police have found a toddler who was kidnapped when a vehicle was stolen in South Auckland.
The police say the two-year-old was inside the car which was taken from a Rollerston Street address in Papakura about 2pm on Thursday.
It's believed neighbours alerted police.
The police say the offender, who is known to them, was not related to the child.
It's understood the man is still on the run.
