Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked and robbed outside Wellington railway station.
They say the 22-year-old was waiting for a train when he was set upon in the early hours of Saturday morning. He suffered cuts and bruises when he was held in a headlock while his pockets and backpack were rummaged through. His cellphone was taken.
His two attackers are described as Maori or Polynesian men.
