Police in Auckland have captured a escaped prisoner who has been at large for nearly two weeks.
Heath Matehare, 30, was arrested in Otara on Thursday night.
He escaped from the Auckland central police station on 18 April.
He is to appear in court on charges of assault, escaping and burglary.
