A person has been taken to hospital overnight after suffering a firearm injury in Auckland.
The police were called to Cross Street in the Auckland CBD at 1.45am after receiving reports of a person with a gunshot wound.
St John say one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The police are making enquiries to understand the circumstances of the incident.
