Police in Hamilton are looking for two men who robbed an elderly man at gunpoint in his home Tuesday night, after binding his hands and feet.
The police say the pair invaded the 72 year old's home at 10.30pm, forcing him to hand over cash and bank cards.
The offenders then searched the house and took more cash and some jewellery.
The police say the victim was bruised and extremely shaken by the ordeal.
The stolen bank cards were then used to withdraw cash from the Te Rapa shopping centre.
