Police in Hamilton are still looking for an elderly woman who disapeared in early December.
Grave fears are held for Audrey Gibson, 81, who was last seen leaving a hairdressing salon in the suburb of Queenwood.
The Waikato River and its banks have been searched, without result.
Mrs Gibson reportedly has no history of mental illness and her bank books are still in her house.
Her family says the police have told them she may have been the victim of foul play.
