A boy whose trail-bike collided with a ute near Paeroa in the Hauraki District on Sunday has died in hospital.
Blake Fowlie, 11, was flown to Waikato Hospital with multiple fractures and abrasions and severe internal injuries and underwent surgery.
The collision happened shortly before midday on Sunday on Rotokohu Rd.
A crash investigation is underway.
