Whanganui District Council is seeking the destruction of a male pit bull, following attacks on a woman and teenage boy.
The first attack happened at a Cross Street property on Friday, when a woman patted the dog, which attacked her chest and upper body.
On Sunday, a teenage boy was attacked as he walked past the same property, suffering injuries to his hand, arm, thigh and buttock.
Animal control officers did not manage to seize the dog until Sunday evening, as it kept being removed from the house.
