A language symposium has been postponed by Te Taura Whiri i Te Reo Maori in case it clashes with a review of the Maori language strategy.
The Language Commission says it was supposed to be part of the annual Huia Te Reo being held in Rotorua next month.
Chief executive Glenis Philip-Barbara told Waatea News there will be plenty of other activities at the hui, including the presentation of the Maori language awards.
