Fire crews have contained a scrub fire at a golf course in Rotorua.
Emergency services were alerted about 3.30pm on Monday.
The Fire Service says at the peak of the blaze about 16 firefighters, four engines and a helicopter with a monsoon bucket were sent to the Arikikapakapa course in Whakarewarewa.
The fire burned about nine hectares of scrub.
