A well-known Wellington homeless man, known as "blanket man", has died.
A spokesperson for Wellington Hospital has confirmed that Ben Hana died there just after 3.30pm on Sunday.
The hospital could not say what he died from, or how long he had been in hospital.
Mr Hana was known for sitting on the street wearing only a blanket and had a long history of alcohol abuse.
