A teenager who fell into an irrigation ditch in Canterbury was already dead by the time emergency services arrived.
Police, ambulance, the Fire Service and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were called to Intake Road in Eyrewell just before 1pm on Wednesday.
The ambulance service says the girl had already drowned and could not be revived.
