One person is dead following a suspicious house fire in Auckland.
The fire service received a call at about one o'clock on Friday afternoon reporting that smoke was billowing out of a property in Epsom.
The fire is thought to have started in the garage.
Burger King blaze
Auckland's Queen Street has been reopened after a fire at a Burger King premises on Friday evening.
The fire broke out in the outlet's kitchen just after five o'clock and staff and patrons were evacuated, along with people from an adjoining multi storey building.
