2:55 pm on 30 January 2012

The Queenstown bouncer who was charged with stealing CCTV footage of the former England rugby captain Mike Tindall has been remanded without plea following another incident.

Jonathan Dixon has been charged with grievous bodily harm which has left a man fighting for his life.

Police say 26-year-old Jordan Sinke was struck and left unconscious after an altercation in a bar a week ago.

Mr Dixon has also been charged with assaulting Thomas Beatson at the same bar.

Mr Dixon requested name suppression through his duty solicitor, Sonya Vidal, but the request was dropped after Judge Michael Turner said his name had already been printed by several newspapers.

Mr Dixon is remanded on bail and is set to appear in the Queenstown District Court on 13 February.
