A prisoner who assaulted in an argument during a game of pool continues to fight for his life at Wellington Hospital.
The man was attacked with a pool cue by another inmate at a faith based unit at Rimutaka Prison on Sunday.
He has head injuries and remains in a critical condition in the intensive care unit at Wellington Hospital.
