Toa Samoa forward Sauaso Sue has been cleared to play in Monday's Rugby League World Cup quarter final against Fiji after his one match suspension was dismissed at an International Appeals Tribunal.
Sue was put on report for tripping French scrum half William Barthau in the 58th minute of Tuesday's final pool match, and later suspended for one game.
But the Tribunal ruled that whilst he did make contact with the player's leg, there was uncertainty as to whether it was deliberate or intentional.
Samoa will still be missing Leeson Ah Mau who failed in his appeal against the one-match suspension imposed for a shoulder charge on Barthau in the same game.
Toa centre Junior Sau says while it's a blow for the team there's nothing they can do about it.
"I'm pretty confident in the 24 that coach has brought over. Not having [him] is probably a massive loss but pretty confident whoever fills their spot will give it 100 percent."
The winner of Monday's match will face either Australia or the USA in the semis.
