The family of a Scottish man killed in the Pike River Coal mine disaster will hold a memorial service in the town of St Andrew's on Friday.
Malcolm Campbell was one of 29 men who died in the explosions at the West Coast mine on 19 November last year.
Mr Campbell's family say they had hoped to have his body returned to them, but that has not been possible for any of the victims.
Friends and relatives will gather to pay tribute to Mr Campbell, on what was due to have been his 26th birthday.
A Royal Commission into the disaster is to begin later in the year.
