ACC begins review of privacy and security arrangements

9:22 pm on 29 March 2012

The Accident Compensation Corporation says an independent review into its privacy and security of information began Wednesday.

The review was initiated after it was revealed that an ACC claimant, Bronwyn Pullar, had been inadvertently sent a spreadsheet containing information about 6,700 other ACC clients.

The corporation says it expected the review to take three months to complete, and the findings will be made public.
