Murray McCully on three day China trip

Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully will travel to China this week for an official visit.

During the three-day trip, Mr McCully will meet with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi, vice-premier Li Keqiang and the head of the Communist Party's international department Wang Jiarui.

He will also address students at the China Foreign Affairs University.

Mr McCully says the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the launch of the New Zealand China Strategy will be discussed.
