The Green Party has translated some of its major policies on its website into New Zealand sign language.
Green MP Mojo Mathers, who is Parliament's first profoundly deaf member, says the translation is to mark sign language week and improve access to political information for a wider part of the community.
She says it is the first time a political party in New Zealand - and possibly the world - has done this.
