Five Member's bills are to be debated in Parliament, including legislation requiring the Government to fully fund breakfast and lunches in schools in low socio-economic areas.

That bill is in the name of the Mana Party leader Hone Harawira. It would implement a food in schools programmes in decile one and two schools; other schools could also be included.

Green MP Eugenie Sage has a bill that would require the New Zealand Superannuation Fund to consider the implications of investment decisions on climate change.

Legislation in the name of Labour MP Damien O'Connor would put a limit on the number of shares that could be sold by farmers into a new co-operative fund for the trading among farmers scheme set up by Fonterra.

His colleague Sue Moroney has a bill seeking to introduce further minimum entitlements for employees facing redundancy.

And National's Paul Goldsmith has legislation relating to electronic transactions.
