The Government is seeking feedback on changes to the Kiwisaver default-provider scheme.
Commerce Minister Craig Foss says the voluntary long-term savings scheme currently has more than two million members, with about 17,500 people joining each month during the past year.
Members who don't specify a Kiwisaver provider are given one of six default providers.
Mr Foss has released a discussion document, part of which asks if default provider arrangements should be tailored for an investor's age and likely risk profile.
Mr Foss says submissions on the Kiwisaver changes close on 24 December.
