The Accident Compensation Corporation has given former chief executive Ralph Stewart a performance bonus of $100,000.

Mr Stewart was in the role for only nine months and resigned in July last year following fallout from a massive privacy breach.
In August 2011, details of more than 6000 clients were mistakenly sent to Auckland claimant Bronwyn Pullar.
It resulted in the resignations of the then ACC Minister Nick Smith and the departure of board chair John Judge and two directors.
Mr Stewart also resigned, but stayed on until the end of 2012.
As part of his final pay package, Mr Stewart received $100,493 for meeting specific performance targets, $22,765 in lieu of accrued leave and $23,158 for entitled leave.
The ACC board says it appreciated Mr Stewart's willingness to stay on for three months beyond his contracted notice period following his resignation.
Labour Party MP Andrew Little is calling the bonus a sympathy payment.
Mr Little says the board paid the money because Mr Stewart was forced to quit the role so early in his tenure and was left to carry the can for something that he could not have been responsible for.
Mr Little says Mr Stewart should have remained in the role.
