Former National list MP Paul Quinn has turned down a chance to return to Parliament to take up a seat made vacant by Jackie Blue.
Dr Blue is quitting Parliament to become the Equal Employment Opportunities Commissioner.
Mr Quinn says he won't be returning, as he is fully committed to his expanding business interests.
Paul Foster Bell, who stood for National in the Wellington Central electorate in the 2011 general election, is next on the list.
