German internet businessman, Kim Dotcom, is promising New Zealanders a political party that will provide improved Internet services.
Mr Dotcom, who is fighting extradition to the United States, has announced on Twitter he will launch a website for the new party on 20 January next year, the second anniversary of a police raid on his home in Coatesville, north of Auckland.
The FBI is trying to extradite Mr Dotcom to the United States to face charges of internet copyright fraud, racketeering and money laundering.
Mr Dotcom is promising his political party will bring New Zealanders a new submarine cable, fair Internet pricing and no more data caps.
