Labour, Greens declare donation from businessman

9:59 pm on 14 April 2014

The Labour and Green parties have declared they have each received a donation of about $60,000 from businessman Phillip Mills.

Mr Mills is the founder of the Pure Advantage Group and has been openly critical about the National-led Government's approach to climate change.

The Greens say they received $60,000, while Labour says it has received $64,999.

Parties have to publicly declare any donations more than $15,000 in their annual return to the Electoral Commission.

The full list of donations received by political parties will be made public in early May.
