The gap between the Labour Party and the National Party has widened slightly in a poll released on Sunday.
National is up one point to 49% while Labour is down one point to 36% in the 3 News opinion poll.
That increases the gap from 11% to 13%.
The Greens are the only minor party to reach the threshold required to enter Parliament without an electorate seat - down 1% to 5%.
New Zealand First is unchanged on 3%, and both the Maori Party and ACT are unchanged on 2%.
Prime Minister Helen Clark rose one point as the preferred prime minister to 32 and National leader John Key is unchanged on 34.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
