National Party president Judy Kirk is to step down from the position after seven years in the job.
Mrs Kirk has confirmed she will retire at the National Party's annual conference in August.
She says she is proud of what the party has achieved over her time as president, culminating in last year's election win.
Mrs Kirk says many changes made to the party's structure in 2003 positioned it well for ongoing electoral sucess.
