Commerce Commission deputy chair Donal Curtin has resigned from the position, effective immediately.
Commerce Minister Simon Power says Mr Curtin's resignation is an appropriate resolution of issues that were raised recently in relation to his disclosure of interests with finance and investment companies Vestar, Mint Asset Management and MFS.
Mr Curtin will remain as a member of the Commission.
