Recap - Todd Barclay stands down

National MP Todd Barclay has announced he won't stand as a candidate for the 2017 election and will leave Parliament at the end of the term. Look back on RNZ's coverage as it unfolded.

There were mounting calls for Mr Barclay to resign as an MP over recordings of a staff member at his electorate office.

This afternoon before Question Time Mr Barclay announced he would step aside, but not until the end of the term.
