Poll shows National still riding high

The National Party continues to enjoy considerably more support among the public than its main opposition, according to the latest TV3 News poll.

National has risen 2 points to 58% in the party vote.

The Labour Party is down 0.8, to 29%.

The Green Party is up nearly 1.5 points to 7.5%.

Parliament's other parties are all registering below 2%, with the Maori Party on 1.4, ACT on 1% and United Future on 0.2%.

The margin of error is plus or minus 3.1%.
