Key won't rule out working with NZ First

The Prime Minister is refusing to rule out working with New Zealand First if it returns to Parliament after the next election.

John Key ruled out working with the party's leader, Winston Peters, before the last election, when several investigations were held into a $100,000 donation to the party by businessman Owen Glenn.

There has been speculation that outgoing Whanganui Mayor Michael Laws could be a candidate for New Zealand First in the 2011 election.

Mr Key says he will not comment on whether he will work with the party until Mr Peters formally announces he will stand, and his ultimate decision will depend on who leads the party.
