The New Zealand Navy has joined the search for a man who went overboard from his boat in the Marlborough Sounds earlier this week.
Craig Alfred Partridge from Marlborough, was lost overboard in the Endeavour Inlet area of the Sounds early on Tuesday morning. His jacket was recovered on Wednesday.
The Navy has sophisticated equipment which will provide an accurate picture of the entire seabed in the search area.
Shoreline searches are continuing.
