Fault affects Auckland train barrier arms

4:05 pm on 16 October 2013

Auckland commuters are being warned to expect delays, as train services are restored following a technical fault.

The entire network ground to a halt just after 2pm on Wednesday because of the failure, which resulted in barrier arms not working.

Signals have now been restored, but commuters will face delays as services progressively resume, with an initial 30-minute frequency.

Train users can ride buses, as long as they have their tickets or AT HOP cards.
