Three men have been arrested in connection with a pre-Christmas raid on a butcher's shop in Nelson.
They have been charged with several commercial burglaries, including that of Heck German Smallgoods in Wakatu Estate last month.
A small amount of property, including meat, was recovered during police searches this morning.
Sergeant Craig Barker says police knew meat from the butcher's shop burglary was being sold around Nelson.
He asked anyone who has purchased meat they think may have been stolen to contact police.
