The search for a snorkeler missing in Northland's Cable Bay is due to resume this morning.
The 25-year-old man was reported missing yesterday afternoon, and his catch bag was found washed up on the shore.
Police, the Coastguard and an aerial search found no sign of him.
They said the search will be reassessed this morning.
