Six people have been arrested and charged in relation to an aggravated robbery of a 24-hour convenience store in central Wellington in the early hours of yesterday morning.
During the incident, a male shop worker was allegedly hit on the head with an object resembling a pipe.
Five young people have been charged and have been granted bail.
They are due to appear in the Wellington Youth Court next Tuesday.
The sixth person, an adult, has been remanded in custody.
