A pedestrian has been hit by a bus in central Wellington this morning.
It happened on Manners Street just after 8am near the corner with Victoria Street.
A police spokesperson said the woman has been treated for minor injuries and taken to hospital for a checkup.
This follows a series of accidents including a fatality over the past few years since the buses changed direction in a major revamp of inner city transport in Wellington.
