A French tourist who was driving on the wrong side of the road has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing injury following a crash in King Country in January.
Stephane Mazerat appeared in the Hamilton District Court today on three charges.
Six people were injured, three seriously including Mr Mazerat and his wife when the car he was driving came around a corner on the wrong side and collided with a vehicle coming the other way.
The crash happened on State Highway 3 just north of Awakino.
Mr Mazerat appeared in court in a wheel chair. He has been remanded on bail to reappear again next month.
