A woman in her 70s has been robbed by two boys who looked as young as 13, in Mount Maunganui, police have said.
The 71-year-old woman was walking down an alleyway between Taupo Avenue and Girvan Road yesterday afternoon when the two boys approached her.
Police said a weapon was produced and cash was taken by the pair.
