The High Court in Wellington has lifted the name suppression for five men accused over the death of a man in Woodville earlier this year.
James Whatuira was found dead at a property in Ormond Street, Woodville on 4 January.
Police said he died from a single gunshot wound.
Name suppression was been lifted for Scott Simmonds, Troy Simmonds, William Hartley, Michael Fiti, and Daniel Ray, who appeared by video link from the Palmerston North court this morning.
All will appear again before the Court on 18 May for a case review hearing.
