Police in Auckland say a woman has come forward in connection with a hit and run in Grey Lynn that left a 24-year-old man with serious injuries.
The man was struck by what witnesses describe as a silver sedan travelling west along Great North road at 3.30am yesterday.
Police said a 21-year-old woman identified herself to them last night.
Her car was seized for examination - but the police said no one had been arrested at this stage.
The injured man was now in a stable condition in hospital.
